Miles Overview
The Hardtop 2 Door is MINI's classic hatchback, the one that started the modern retro craze and still feels like a go-kart for the road. It's genuinely fun to drive, with quick, direct steering and a stiff, playful chassis that makes every corner an event. The ride is firm, especially on the sportier trims, which is the trade-off for that sharp handling. It's a small two-door, so rear seat space is tight, but the hatchback opens to a surprisingly usable cargo area for the footprint. The all-electric powertrain sets the Hardtop 2 Door SE apart from the gas-powered Cooper and Cooper S, giving you instant torque and no tailpipe emissions. Its electric motor produces 181 horsepower and 199 lb-ft of torque routed through a continuously variable automatic (CVT) to front-wheel drive, enough to make it feel eager from a stop while delivering 110 miles of range.
