Miles Overview
The 2023 Hardtop 2 Door is MINI's smallest hatchback, the one that started the modern revival and still feels like a go-kart for the street. It's genuinely fun to drive, with quick steering and a stiff, playful chassis that makes every corner feel like an event. The cabin is snug but stylish, with a big central speedometer and quality materials that make the small footprint feel premium. Back seats are tight for adults and cargo space is modest, so it's best as a two-person car with room for weekend bags. The base Cooper is the one to pick if you want the classic MINI experience without the extra cost of the Cooper S or John Cooper Works. Its 2.0L I4 makes 189 horsepower and 206 lb-ft of torque, routed through a seven-speed automatic to the front wheels, and returns 31 mpg combined.
