Miles Overview
The Sprinter is Mercedes-Benz's full-size van, the one you see as delivery trucks, ambulances, and camper conversions. It drives like a much smaller vehicle than its size suggests, with a tight turning circle that makes city work surprisingly easy. The cabin is functional and upright, with a commanding view over traffic and plenty of room for a tall driver. Cargo versions offer a huge, boxy load area, and the tall roof options let you stand up inside while loading. The 2500 is the mid-range Sprinter, offering more payload capacity than the 2500 Cargo 144 WB without stepping up to the heavy-duty 3500. Its 3.0L V6 makes 188 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque, routed through a five-speed automatic to the rear wheels, which is plenty for hauling heavy loads without feeling strained. Expect a firm, commercial-grade ride when empty, but load it up and the suspension settles into a composed, stable cruiser.
