Miles Overview
The AMG GT is Mercedes' dedicated sports car, a front-engine grand tourer that goes up against the Porsche 911 and Aston Martin Vantage. It's a car that rewards smooth inputs, with a long hood and a rear-biased feel that makes every corner an event. The ride is firm but compliant on the highway, and the cabin stays quiet enough for long-distance cruising. There's a usable trunk and a surprisingly comfortable cabin for two, though rear seats are tight in the coupe. The 4.0L V8 sends 469 horsepower through a automatic transmission to the rear wheels, a combination that makes the convertible feel lively and eager to rotate. This trim's standard adaptive suspension and active exhaust let you tune the car's mood from comfortable cruiser to sharp-edged back-road tool.
