Miles Overview
The S-Class is Mercedes-Benz's flagship luxury sedan, also offered as a coupe and convertible, competing with the BMW 7 Series and Audi A8. It glides over pavement with a serene, isolated ride, and the powerful engines make highway merging effortless. Inside, you get a lavish cabin with plush seats and high-end materials, though the coupe and convertible have small trunks. The infotainment system has a bit of a learning curve, but once you get used to it, the array of features is impressive. Stepping up to the S 560 from the S 450 brings a V8, more standard luxury features, and the option of all-wheel drive. The 4.0L V8 makes 463 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive for effortless highway passing. The coupe body style means you get four seats and 10.4 cubic feet of cargo space of trunk space, a trade-off for the sleek roofline.
