Miles Overview
The 2017 S-Class is Mercedes-Benz's flagship luxury sedan, coupe, and convertible, competing with the Audi A8 and BMW 7 Series. It drives with a serene, confident feel, and the air suspension soaks up bumps effortlessly. The cabin is lavish, with outstanding seats and a feature-filled interior that makes long trips a pleasure. Coupe and convertible models have small trunks, but the sedan offers generous space for passengers and luggage. Stepping up from the S 550 to the S 63 AMG brings a hand-built engine, AMG-tuned suspension, and a more aggressive interior with sport seats and unique trim. The 5.5L V8 sends 577 horsepower through a seven-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, making this coupe feel effortless and urgent at the same time. The coupe body means you get four seats and 10.4 cubic feet of cargo space, so it's more personal than practical, but the air suspension keeps it serene on long drives.
