2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C 63 AMG

The 2019 C-Class is Mercedes-Benz's compact luxury line, offered as a sedan, coupe, or convertible, and it takes on the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4. The C-Class balances everyday comfort with sharp responses; the AMG versions deliver serious acceleration and a soundtrack to match. The cabin is a highlight, with rich materials and available upgrades like a Burmester sound system that owners consistently praise. Space is tight in the back and trunk, especially in the coupe and convertible, so it suits singles or couples more than families. Reliability is generally solid, with owners reporting few problems; run-flat tires and a finicky fuel filler are minor quirks. The C 63 AMG swaps the C 43's V6 for a hand-built 4.0L V8, and it skips all-wheel drive to send power only to the rear wheels. That 4.0L V8 makes 469 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque, routed through a nine-speed automatic, and it's rated at 20 mpg combined. It's a convertible, so you get the full V8 soundtrack with the top down, and the rear seats are best left for short trips or extra storage.
