Miles Overview
The 2020 C-Class is Mercedes-Benz's compact luxury line, offered as a sedan, coupe, and convertible with both rear- and all-wheel drive. It squares off against the BMW 3 Series, Audi A4, and Lexus IS, with the AMG versions taking on the M3 and C63's rivals. The C-Class drives with a poised balance of comfort and agility, and the AMG variants deliver ferocious straight-line performance. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in rich materials, with supportive seats and a clean dashboard layout that emphasizes quality. Stepping up to the C 63 swaps the C 43's V6 for a hand-built 4.0L V8 and adds AMG-specific suspension tuning and a limited-slip rear differential. The 4.0L V8 sends 469 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque through a nine-speed automatic to the rear wheels, giving it a muscular, urgent feel that rewards a confident right foot. The C 63 coupe seats four and returns 20 mpg combined, which is the trade-off for that V8 character and the AMG exhaust note.
