Miles Overview
The 2017 B-Class is Mercedes-Benz's compact electric hatchback, a five-door that prioritizes urban efficiency over outright range. The cabin is nicely trimmed with Mercedes materials, and the tall hatchback body gives it more rear headroom and cargo space than you'd expect from a compact. Charging at home is inexpensive, and the electric drivetrain means no oil changes or gas stops, though the battery range is modest by today's standards. Its 87 miles of range from the electric motor means it’s best for daily commutes and errands, and the continuously variable automatic (CVT) delivers smooth, seamless acceleration around town. The tall hatchback body gives you 51.4 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded, which is more than most compact EVs offer and makes it surprisingly practical for its size.
