Miles Overview
The 2014 S-Class is Mercedes-Benz's flagship full-size luxury sedan, the one that sets the benchmark for the rest of the lineup. It's a big car, but it moves with surprising urgency when you ask for it, and the ride is about as smooth as a luxury sedan gets. Inside, the cabin is lavish and feature-filled, with outstanding seats and a wealth of technology that takes a little time to learn. Owners note that parts and maintenance can be pricey, and the front brakes have been known to squeal early on some examples. This biturbo 4.7L V8 makes 449 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, giving it effortless highway passing and a silent cruise; the seven-speed automatic is tuned for comfort first.
