Miles Overview
The S-Class is Mercedes-Benz's flagship luxury sedan, also offered as a coupe and convertible, and it competes with the BMW 7 Series and Audi A8. The S-Class glides over pavement with a serene, controlled ride, and the powerful engines make it feel effortlessly quick when you need to pass. Inside, you get a lavish cabin with plush seats and high-quality materials, though the coupe and cabriolet have smaller trunks than the sedan. Expect premium fuel and pricey maintenance, but owners say the S-Class is worth the cost for the comfort and performance it delivers. The S 65 AMG sits at the top of the S-Class range, above the S 560 and S 63, and it's the only one with a V12 under the hood. Its 6.0L V12 makes 621 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque, routed through a seven-speed automatic to the rear-wheel drive, and it delivers effortless, relentless acceleration. You get the most exclusive S-Class experience here, with a hand-built engine and a standard AMG exhaust that lets the V12 sing.
