Miles Overview
The S-Class is Mercedes' flagship luxury sedan, with coupe and convertible versions for those who want the same opulence in two doors. It wafts along in near silence, yet the AMG versions transform it into a serious performance machine when you want to hustle. Inside, the cabin is a masterclass in luxury, with massaging seats, ambient lighting, and rear seats that rival first-class airline pods. Expect premium fuel and maintenance costs that match its six-figure price tag, but the experience is hard to match elsewhere. The S 450 is the entry to the S-Class lineup, giving you the same sumptuous cabin and quiet ride as the V8 trims, just with a smaller engine and a lower starting price. Its 3.0L V6 makes 362 horsepower and pairs with a nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, which is plenty smooth for daily driving but won't match the S 560's effortless surge.
