Miles Overview
The CLA is Mercedes' entry-level sedan, a small four-door that brings the brand's style to a more affordable price point. It's a sharp-handling little car, though the ride is on the firm side and the base engine can feel a bit sluggish off the line. Inside, the cabin is snug but nicely finished, with supportive seats and a straightforward layout that's easy to live with. Owners love the head-turning looks and the comfortable seats, and many report few mechanical issues over time. The CLA 45 AMG trades the 250's more modest output for 355 horsepower and AMG-specific bodywork, suspension, and brakes. Its hand-built 2.0L I4 pairs with a quick-shifting seven-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, making it a genuinely fast compact sedan at 26 mpg combined. The AMG-tuned suspension keeps body roll in check, but expect a firm ride over rough pavement on the 18-inch run-flat tires.
