Miles Overview
The SLK is Mercedes' compact two-seat roadster, a convertible that pairs everyday usability with a sporty character. It's a rewarding car to drive, with sharp steering and a chassis that feels eager through corners while staying composed on the highway. The cabin is snug but well put together, with quality materials and a clever retractable hardtop that lets you switch from coupe to open-air driving in seconds. Just know that rear legroom is minimal and the trunk is small, so it's best for two people without much luggage. The SLK 55 AMG is for buyers who want the full muscle-car experience in a compact roadster, with a V8 that the SLK 350 doesn't offer. The AMG-tuned suspension firms things up noticeably, so expect a taut ride that rewards aggressive driving more than it coddles on rough pavement.
