Miles Overview
The SLC is Mercedes' compact two-seat convertible, the roadster version of the old SLK. It's a proper little sports car, with sharp steering and a chassis that loves a twisty back road. The ride is firm but composed, and the cabin stays quiet with the top up. Trunk space is tight, but the folding hardtop is a neat trick that keeps it usable year-round. Its 2.0L I4 makes 241 horsepower routed through a nine-speed automatic, and at 27 mpg combined it's the efficient choice for top-down cruising. Standard DYNAMIC SELECT lets you firm up the throttle and shift speed with a twist of the console knob, a feature shared with AMG versions.
