Miles Overview
The 2008 S-Class is Mercedes' flagship sedan, the car that sets the tone for the rest of the lineup. It wafts down the road with a quiet confidence that makes long trips feel effortless. Inside, you get a cabin that feels special, with comfortable seats and ambient lighting that wraps around the interior. Parts are pricey when something does need fixing, and the thirst for fuel is real, so budget accordingly. AMG's full performance treatment and a hand-built V12 set the S 65 AMG apart from the standard S-Class models. Its 6.0L V12 makes 604 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque, routed through a five-speed automatic to the rear wheels, which makes for effortless, relentless acceleration. The S 65 AMG rides on an air suspension tuned for both comfort and control, so you get the flagship's quiet ride with sharper reflexes.
