2017 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class CLS 550

This is Mercedes-Benz's sleek four-door coupe, blending the elegance of a grand tourer with the practicality of a sedan. The CLS feels planted and confident, with a hushed cabin that makes long highway miles disappear quickly. Inside, you get a beautifully crafted cabin with supportive seats and plenty of room for four adults, though the sloping roof cuts into rear headroom. Standard tech includes a large infotainment screen with COMAND navigation, plus a suite of driver aids like adaptive cruise and lane-keeping assist. The CLS 550 sits between the base CLS 400 and the fire-breathing CLS 63 S AMG, giving you a strong V8 without the hard-edged track focus. Its 4.7L V8 makes 402 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque, routed through a nine-speed automatic to all-wheel drive, which delivers effortless passing power and all-weather grip. You get the CLS's graceful coupe-like silhouette with four usable doors, and the ride is supple enough for daily driving while still feeling tied down on a back road.
