Miles Overview
The CLS-Class is Mercedes' sleek four-door coupe, blending a coupe-like roofline with the practicality of a sedan. It drives with a poised, confident feel, and the available AMG models turn up the aggression without losing everyday usability. Inside, the cabin is beautifully crafted with high-quality materials, though rear headroom is tight for taller passengers. Standard tech includes a large infotainment screen and a suite of driver assistance features, keeping it competitive for its year. The CLS 400 is the entry point, giving up the V8 power of the CLS 550 for a more efficient biturbo V6 and a lower starting price. Its biturbo 3.0L V6 makes 329 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque, routed through a seven-speed automatic to the rear wheels, and it returns 24 mpg combined. Standard 18-inch wheels and a comfort-tuned suspension keep the ride supple, though you miss the adaptive dampers available on pricier trims.
