Miles Overview
The 2014 C-Class is Mercedes' compact luxury sedan and coupe, the entry point into the brand's lineup. It drives with a composed, planted feel that makes long commutes easy, though the base engine is not the quickest in its class. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in rich materials and the front seats are comfortable, but the back seat is snug for adults. Some owners report that the seat fabric can tear along the center seam, and the infotainment screen can occasionally glitch. That 6.2L V8 sends 451 horsepower to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic, and it returns 15 mpg combined. The coupe body style means two doors and snug rear seats, but the exhaust note is unmistakably AMG.
