Miles Overview
The 2014 C-Class is Mercedes' compact luxury sedan and coupe, the entry point into the brand's lineup. It drives with a composed, planted feel that makes long commutes easy, though the base engine is not the quickest in its class. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in rich materials and the front seats are comfortable, but the back seat is snug for adults. Some owners report that the seat fabric can tear along the center seam, and the infotainment screen can occasionally glitch. The C 300 Sport sits between the base C 250 and the V6-powered C 350, adding firmer suspension and sportier exterior styling. Its 3.5L V6 makes 248 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque, routed through the seven-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, which gives it sure-footed traction in rain or snow. The Sport trim's tuned suspension lowers the ride height and firms up the dampers, so you'll feel the road more than in the Luxury version.
