Miles Overview
The 2009 C-Class is Mercedes' compact sedan, the entry point to the brand for many buyers. It's a car that feels planted and composed on the highway, with a ride that's on the firm side but still comfortable for daily driving. Inside, the cabin is well-built with quality materials, though the backseat is snug for adults and the trunk is modest. Some owners mention that the leather seats can tear along the seams, and the electronics can be glitchy at times. A hand-built 6.2L V8 sets the C 63 AMG apart from the C 300 trims below it, which make do with a 3.0L V6. That engine makes 451 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque, and with the seven-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive it hits 60 in about 4.4 seconds. Fuel economy is the trade-off here, at 15 mpg combined, but the soundtrack alone makes it worth it.
