Miles Overview
The 2009 C-Class is Mercedes' compact sedan, the entry point to the brand for many buyers. It's a car that feels planted and composed on the highway, with a ride that's on the firm side but still comfortable for daily driving. Inside, the cabin is well-built with quality materials, though the backseat is snug for adults and the trunk is modest. Some owners mention that the leather seats can tear along the seams, and the electronics can be glitchy at times. The C 300 Sport is the rear-drive, manual-transmission choice for drivers who want a sharper feel than the all-wheel-drive C 300. Its 3.0L V6 makes 228 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed manual, sending power to the rear wheels for a more engaging drive than the automatic. The sport-tuned suspension and staggered 17-inch wheels give it a firmer, more connected feel on back roads than the standard C 300.
