Miles Overview
The CL-Class is Mercedes' flagship two-door, a grand touring coupe that shares its bones with the S-Class sedan. It wafts down the highway with effortless composure, yet it's genuinely quick when you ask for it. The air suspension soaks up bumps beautifully, making long trips feel almost serene. Inside, you get a beautifully crafted cabin with plenty of room for two, though the rear seats are best left for short hops. The CL 550 is the entry point to the CL-Class, with a strong 4.7L V8 and standard all-wheel drive giving you all-weather confidence the rear-drive CL 63 AMG lacks. The air suspension on the CL 550 keeps the ride plush, but the optional Active Body Control stiffens things up when you want a sharper feel.
