Miles Overview
The CL-Class is Mercedes' flagship two-door coupe, a big, luxurious grand tourer that shares its bones with the S-Class sedan. The ride is plush and isolated, with the air suspension soaking up bumps that would upset lesser cars, though it's on the soft side for spirited driving. Inside, you get a beautifully crafted cabin with real wood and leather everywhere, plus a spacious rear seat for a coupe. Stepping up to the CL 600 swaps the V8 for Mercedes' 5.5L V12, plus you get the full S-Class luxury experience in a two-door body. The 5.5L V12 makes 510 horsepower and 612 lb-ft of torque, routed through a five-speed automatic to the rear wheels, and it pulls hard from any speed without breaking a sweat. The CL 600 came standard with the Active Body Control suspension, which keeps the car flat through corners while still riding like a proper luxury coupe.
