Miles Overview
The CLS-Class is Mercedes' sleek four-door coupe, a sedan with a dramatically sloping roofline that made waves when it debuted. It's a joy to drive, blending a comfortable ride with sporty handling that makes it feel more agile than its size suggests. Inside, you get high-quality materials, supportive leather seats, and a stylish cabin, though rear headroom is tight for tall passengers due to the coupe-like roof. Owners report some electrical gremlins, like windows and locks losing programming, and air suspension issues can be a costly repair. Its 5.0L V8 makes 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque, paired with a seven-speed automatic that shifts smoothly in Comfort mode and snaps off quicker shifts in Sport. The AIRMATIC suspension lets you dial between a cushy ride and taut body control, though the system can be expensive to repair if it fails.
