Miles Overview
The G-Class is Mercedes' boxy, body-on-frame SUV, a luxury off-roader that's as much a status symbol as a trail tool. It drives with a commanding presence, and the tall seating gives you a clear view over traffic, though the steering feels vague on center. Inside, the cabin blends old-school ruggedness with modern luxury, offering plenty of room for four adults and a sizable cargo area. Owners love the distinctive looks, the solid build, and the comfortable ride, but they note the brakes can squeal and upkeep is pricey. Its 6.0L V12 makes 621 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque, routed through a seven-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, and it returns 12 mpg combined.
