Miles Overview
The G-Class is Mercedes' boxy, go-anywhere SUV, a true off-roader that's been a staple for decades. It drives with commanding presence, feeling unstoppable on rough terrain while still being surprisingly composed on pavement. Inside, the cabin is roomy and comfortable, with plenty of space for the whole family and a large cargo area. Owners report solid reliability, though some have mentioned squeaky brakes and the expected thirst for fuel. The handcrafted AMG biturbo V8 with 563 horsepower sets the G 63 AMG apart from the standard G 550. The seven-speed automatic and permanent four-wheel drive with three locking differentials make it unstoppable off-road, and you'll see 13 mpg combined. The AMG Sport Exhaust with dual sidepipes gives it a signature snarl that matches the brawny styling.
