Miles Overview
The G-Class is Mercedes-Benz's boxy, go-anywhere SUV, a military-derived icon that's as much a status symbol as a serious off-roader. It drives with a commanding presence, and the tall seating position gives you a clear view over traffic. The ride is smooth and the cabin stays quiet, even at highway speeds, though the back seat is a bit short on legroom for adults. Some owners report squealing brakes, and the infotainment tech feels dated with no touchscreen. The 5.5L V8 makes 536 horsepower and 560 lb-ft of torque, and it'll pin you back in the seat every time you hit the throttle. It gets AMG-tuned suspension and high-performance brakes, so it handles its weight better than you'd expect.
