Miles Overview
The GLA-Class is Mercedes' smallest crossover, a subcompact SUV that competes with the BMW X1 and Audi Q3. It feels nimble and eager in town, with a firm ride that keeps body roll in check on twisty roads. Inside, the cabin is snug but nicely finished, and the rear seats fold flat to open up useful cargo space. The infotainment system is straightforward to use, and every GLA comes with a suite of driver assists as standard. All-wheel drive and the seven-speed dual-clutch automatic distinguish the GLA 250 from the front-drive base model below it. Its 2.0L I4 makes 208 horsepower and returns 26 mpg combined, which is solid for a subcompact crossover with this much punch. The DYNAMIC SELECT system lets you switch between Eco and Sport modes, sharpening throttle and shift response when you want it.
