Miles Overview
The GLA-Class is Mercedes' smallest crossover, a subcompact SUV that competes with the BMW X1 and Audi Q3. It feels nimble and eager in town, with a firm ride that keeps body roll in check on twisty roads. Inside, the cabin is snug but nicely finished, and the rear seats fold flat to open up useful cargo space. The infotainment system is straightforward to use, and every GLA comes with a suite of driver assists as standard. The 18-inch wheels, power liftgate, and dual-zone climate control set the GLA 250 apart from the entry-level trim below it. Its 2.0L I4 makes 208 horsepower, and the seven-speed dual-clutch automatic shifts crisply through the gears. Front-wheel drive keeps the curb weight down to 3,296 pounds, so the GLA 250 feels light on its feet around town.
