Miles Overview
The 2019 GLC-Class is Mercedes-Benz's compact luxury SUV, offered in both traditional and coupe-like body styles. It competes with the BMW X3, Audi Q5, and Volvo XC60, but stands apart with its broad range of powertrains. The GLC delivers a refined, quiet ride, and the AMG versions add sharp throttle response and a muscular soundtrack. Inside, the cabin is trimmed with high-quality materials and offers generous passenger space, though cargo room is modest. Standard tech includes a 7-inch display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a suite of driver-assistance features. Its 4.0L V8 produces 469 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque, routed through a nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive that deliver explosive acceleration and sharp cornering grip. The optional AMG Dynamic Plus package adds a race-start function and dynamic engine mounts for even sharper responses on track days.
