Miles Overview
This is Mercedes-Benz's compact luxury SUV, the one that replaced the GLK and competes with the BMW X3 and Audi Q5. It drives with a composed, planted feel, and the steering is accurate enough that you'll enjoy it on a winding road. The ride is smooth and quiet on the highway, though you'll feel sharper bumps around town. Inside, the cabin is well-built with quality materials, and the rear seat is roomy for the class. The GLC 300 is the entry trim, with rear-wheel drive as standard and a long options list that includes all-wheel drive. Its 2.0L I4 makes 241 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic that shifts smoothly and keeps the engine in its sweet spot. The DYNAMIC SELECT drive modes let you sharpen the throttle and shift mapping, though the standard suspension is tuned for comfort over cornering.
