Miles Overview
The 2011 SLK-Class is Mercedes' compact two-seat roadster, a car that's more about relaxed top-down cruising than hard-edged track work. It feels light on its feet and eager through corners, with a ride that's comfortable enough for daily use yet still engaging when you push it. Inside, the cabin is snug but well-finished, with quality materials and a clever folding hardtop that keeps things quiet with the roof up. Cargo space is tight, so plan for weekend trips rather than full luggage, but the front seats are comfortable and the controls are easy to use. The SLK 300 gives up the SLK 350's extra power and standard features, but it's still a well-equipped roadster that costs thousands less. Its 3.0L V6 makes 228 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic for smooth, relaxed acceleration that suits top-down cruising. The folding hardtop stows in about 22 seconds, giving you a coupe-like cabin when closed and open-air freedom at the touch of a button.
