Miles Overview
The SLK is Mercedes' two-seat roadster, a retractable-hardtop convertible that's more about style and fun than practicality. It's a genuinely fun car to drive, with eager handling and a quick-shifting roof that goes up or down in seconds. The cabin feels snug but comfortable, with heated seats and neck heaters that make top-down driving enjoyable even in cooler weather. Some owners note the roof seals can leak water into the cabin over time, and the low stance means you'll want to watch for steep driveways. The SLK 350 trades the SLK 55 AMG's V8 for a strong 3.5L V6, saving thousands while keeping the same retractable hardtop and rear-wheel drive layout. Its 3.5L V6 pairs with a seven-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive, giving you 19 mpg combined and a smooth, willing power delivery that makes every on-ramp a treat.
