Miles Overview
The SLK is Mercedes' compact two-seat roadster, a retractable hardtop convertible that was a head-turner in 2001. It's a fun little car with eager acceleration and a button-operated top that folds into the trunk in seconds. Inside, the cabin feels surprisingly roomy for its size, with leather seats and a bright wood console that give it a classy vibe. Just know that storage is tight, especially with the top down, and it's not the best choice for tall drivers or snowy winters. The SLK 230 is the more affordable roadster in the lineup, trading the 320's extra power for a lower entry price. Its 2.3L I4 makes 192 horsepower and pairs with a automatic transmission to the rear wheels, giving it eager acceleration around town. The retractable hardtop folds in seconds, turning the coupe into a convertible without compromising the clean lines.
