Miles Overview
The Sprinter is Mercedes-Benz's full-size work van, the one you see hauling cargo and shuttling people across the country. It drives with a commanding view of the road, and the steering is light enough that it doesn't feel as big as it is. The cabin is plain and functional, with hard plastics that wipe clean easily, which suits its workhorse role. Running costs are commercial-grade, so expect higher fuel bills and maintenance that's priced like a Mercedes. The 2500 is the middle-duty Sprinter, with a heavier suspension and higher GVWR than the Base, but still reasonable for daily driving. Its 3.0L I6 diesel makes 161 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque, and the seven-speed automatic shifts smoothly for a work van that spends its days hauling.
