Miles Overview
The i3 is BMW's compact electric hatchback, the one with the tall, narrow body and rear-hinged back doors. It's quick off the line and feels nimble in town, with a rear-wheel-drive layout that's rare among EVs. Inside, the cabin feels airy and modern, with sustainable materials and a spacious front row. Cargo space is versatile for a small car, but rear-seat legroom is tight and the rear doors are awkward. The 120Ah is the base i3, a pure EV that skips the range-extender engine of the 120Ah w/Range Extender and s trims, keeping weight down and efficiency up. Its 153 miles of range comes from a larger battery than earlier i3s, and the instant 184 lb-ft of torque makes it feel quicker than its 170 horsepower suggests around town.
