Miles Overview
The i7 is BMW's flagship electric sedan, the battery-powered version of the 7 Series and the brand's answer to the Mercedes EQS and Lucid Air. It drives with the quiet confidence you'd expect from a big BMW, and the available M70 turns it into a genuinely quick luxury cruiser. The air suspension soaks up bumps beautifully, and the cabin stays hushed even at highway speeds. Inside, you get a sprawling rear seat with optional theater screens, plus a 31-inch display that makes the back row feel like a first-class lounge. Stepping up from the eDrive50 to the xDrive60 adds a second motor for all-wheel drive and a meaningful jump to 536 horsepower, making it the sweet spot in the i7 lineup for most buyers. The dual-motor setup and all-wheel drive give this i7 confident traction in any weather, and the 296 miles of range means you can take it on a road trip without obsessing over chargers.
