2024 BMW i4 M50

The i4 is BMW's electric answer to the Tesla Model 3 and the Audi e-tron GT, a gran coupe with a hatchback tail. It drives with the composure you'd expect from a BMW, blending quick steering with a planted feel that makes it easy to place on a twisty road. Inside, the cabin is quiet and well-built, with supportive seats and a large touchscreen running BMW's latest iDrive system. The hatchback opens to a generous cargo area, and the rear seats fold down for extra space when you need it. Stepping up to the M50 from the xDrive40 adds a second motor and a much more aggressive tune, turning the i4 into a genuine performance EV. With 536 horsepower and 586 lb-ft of torque from two electric motors and all-wheel drive, the M50 launches hard and stays planted through corners. The M50's adaptive suspension and M-specific brakes are standard, and the available M Sport package adds a stiffer setup for track days.
