Miles Overview
This is BMW's high-performance version of the 3 Series, offered as a coupe, sedan, or convertible. The high-revving engine and sharp steering make it a thrill on a back road, though the ride is firm and the rear can step out if you're not careful. Inside, you get supportive sport seats and a well-built cabin, but rear legroom is tight and the trunk is modest. The naturally aspirated 4.0L I8 loves to rev, and with rear-wheel drive it's eager to rotate, though you'll see 14 mpg city in town and 20 mpg highway on the highway. As the convertible, you get the top-down experience that the coupe and sedan don't offer, at the cost of extra weight and a bit more chassis flex.
