Miles Overview
The 2008 M3 is BMW's high-performance compact sports sedan, also offered as a coupe and convertible. It's a driver's car through and through, with razor-sharp steering and a chassis that rewards confidence on a back road. Inside, the cabin is snug but well-built, with supportive seats and a clean layout that puts the focus on driving. Owners mention that maintenance can be pricey, and the car is less composed in the rain, so expect to budget for upkeep. The 4.0L I8 makes 414 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, and with the six-speed automatic it's quick off the line yet returns 16 mpg combined. With 3,704 pounds to haul around and 11.1 cubic feet of cargo space of trunk space, this coupe is more about back-road thrills than hauling gear.
