Miles Overview
The 2015 M6 is BMW's high-performance grand tourer, offered as a coupe, convertible, or Gran Coupe sedan. It's brutally quick and sounds fantastic, yet it settles into a relaxed cruise when you want it to. Inside, the cabin is luxurious and packed with tech, including BMW's iDrive system and a host of safety features. The M6 is heavy and thirsty, and some owners have reported cracked seat leather over time. The Base M6 is the purest expression of the model, and if you want the drop-top experience without the Gran Coupe's extra doors, this is the one to pick. With 553 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque from the 4.4L I8, this rear-wheel-drive convertible is seriously quick, though you'll pay for it at the pump at 16 mpg combined. The convertible's power soft top operates at speeds up to 25 mph, so you can drop the roof without pulling over.
