Miles Overview
The 2018 M5 is BMW's high-performance version of the 5 Series sedan, aimed squarely at the Mercedes-AMG E63 and Audi RS6. Inside, the cabin is plush and tech-rich, with supportive seats and enough room for four adults plus a usable trunk. Owners love the blend of everyday comfort and supercar-level performance, plus the solid build quality that holds up over miles. The 2018 M5 is the only trim for the model year, so you get the full performance package without stepping up to a higher tier. Its 4.4L I8 makes 599 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque, routed through an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive that can switch to rear-drive for a more playful feel. The standard adaptive suspension keeps it comfortable on the highway, though the ride firms up noticeably in Sport Plus mode.
