Miles Overview
The M5 corners with surprising agility for its size, though the ride is firm, especially in its stiffest settings. Inside, you get a roomy cabin with supportive sport seats and a trunk that swallows a weekend's luggage. The Competition is the sharper version of the standard M5, with 617 horsepower and a firmer suspension tune. Its 4.4L V8 makes 617 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque, routed through an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive that delivers explosive acceleration. The Competition gets a sport exhaust system that lets the V8 sing more freely than the standard car.
