Miles Overview
The 2009 M6 is BMW's high-performance grand tourer, offered as a coupe or convertible. Owner reviews note solid reliability overall, though the check engine light can appear intermittently. The convertible looks like the coupe but loses the fixed roof, and a minor weight penalty is the trade for open-air driving. It's powered by a 5.0L I10 making 500 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque, and the seven-speed automatic shifts quickly when you push it. The retractable hardtop stows in about 20 seconds, and the cabin stays quiet with the roof up.
