Miles Overview
The M6 is BMW's grand-touring flagship coupe and convertible, the two-door version of the M5 for people who want less practicality and more presence. It shrinks around you on a good road, with sharp steering and a chassis that stays composed even when you're pushing hard. The cabin is snug but well-built, with supportive seats and a clean layout that puts everything within easy reach. The M6 base is the only trim for 2008, so you get BMW's top two-door V-8 grand tourer without any options to worry about. Its 5.0L I10 makes 500 horsepower and routes power through a seven-speed dual-clutch SMG III gearbox to the rear-wheel drive. Fuel economy is rated at 13 mpg combined, which reflects the V-10's appetite when you stretch its legs.
