Miles Overview
The 2006 M6 is BMW's high-performance grand tourer, a two-door coupe that blends luxury with serious track capability. The ride is firm, especially in the sportier settings, but it stays composed on rough roads. Inside, you get supportive sport seats and a driver-focused cockpit, though rear seats are tight for adults. Owners note that oil changes are a hassle and parts can be pricey, with the occasional check engine light that comes and goes. Its 5.0L I10 revs to 8,250 rpm and pairs with a seven-speed automatic, sending 500 horsepower to the rear wheels. Fuel economy is a trade-off at 13 mpg combined, but the sound and response of that high-revving V10 make it worthwhile.
