Miles Overview
The M8 is BMW's flagship performance grand tourer, offered as a coupe, convertible, and four-door Gran Coupe. In Comfort mode the ride settles down nicely for highway cruising, though it's firm over sharp bumps in the sportier settings. The cabin is trimmed in rich leather and carbon fiber, with comfortable seats and a user-friendly iDrive system, though rear legroom is tight in the coupe and convertible. Stepping up to the Competition trim unlocks the full 617 horsepower from the 4.4L V8, along with firmer suspension tuning and a sport exhaust system. The 4.4L V8 pairs with the eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, delivering effortless thrust and a soundtrack that fills the cabin with the top down.
