Miles Overview
This is the high-performance version of BMW's 3 Series, the one enthusiasts cross-shop with the Audi S4 and Mercedes C32 AMG. The M3 is a driver's car through and through, with razor-sharp steering and a chassis that makes every corner feel like an event. Inside, you get supportive sport seats and a clean, driver-focused layout, though rear space is tight and the trunk is modest. Owners report that the SMG transmission can be costly to fix, and the interior trim is prone to cracking in hot climates. Choosing the Base M3 over the hardcore CSL means you get a convertible body and a traditional automatic, which is a meaningful trade-off for open-air driving ease.
