Miles Overview
The 2001 M3 is BMW's high-performance version of the 3 Series, offered as a coupe or convertible. It's a car that rewards a confident right foot, with eager acceleration and a chassis that makes corners feel like the point of the drive. Inside, the M3 keeps the 3 Series' driver-focused layout, with supportive seats and a trunk that handles a surprising amount of luggage. Owners mention that the SMG transmission can be costly to fix if it fails, and the interior trim can crack in heat. Its 3.2L I6 spins to 8,000 rpm and makes 333 horsepower, paired with a six-speed manual and rear-wheel drive that put you in full control.
